Who we are
Welcome to Little Used. A cosy, family-friendly preloved Children’s shop nestled in the heart of the community in Mickleover, Derby.
Little Used has been open since the 1980s, providing thousands of families with quality clothing and toys at affordable prices.
Today, Chelsie and her family proudly continue that tradition. As a Mum to two young daughters, Chelsie understands the need for practical, well-priced clothing and items, and brings that perspective into everything the shop offers.
Here, you’ll find a friendly, welcoming space filled with carefully chosen items for children of all ages, making it easier for families to find what they need without stretching their budgets.
We also believe in giving back to our community. Any unsold or unaccepted items are thoughtfully donated to Rainbows Children’s Hospice charity, helping support children and families who need it most.

We are an agency that sells on your behalf, offering a simple and helpful way to pass on quality items.
From newborn outfits to teen styles, high-street favourites to special designer pieces, everything is priced with families in mind.
We’re also proud to offer a lovely range of women’s clothing and shoes in a wide variety of styles and sizes, so ladies, busy mums and other family members can find something special too.

How we work
We take one Bag for Life–sized bag at a time.
Items must be clean, ironed, and ready for resale.
Toys must be fully working and include batteries.
Items are checked and priced based on condition, brand, and demand.
Unaccepted items are held for up to 3 weeks for collection, then donated to charity.
Items are sold at the price for 6 weeks minimum.
Prices may be reduced after this at our discretion.
After 3 months, items may be donated to charity if space is needed.
Unsold items can be collected within the 3-month period.
You receive 40% of the selling price when items sell
Unsold and uncollected items are donated to Rainbows Children’s Hospice, helping support our local community.
